Adenium multiflorum

Impalalelie / Impala lily

Family: Apocynaceae

These small trees normally flower in winter, when they are leafless, and produce some of the most breath-taking landscapes in the South African bushveld (normally in contrast with the otherwise colourless winter veld). No words to describe the uniqueness and beauty of these small plants with their masses of pink and white flowers.

The shape of these small trees are similar than that of the Baobab tree.

The Kruger Park in South Africa is the best place to go and see them.

Parts of this plant is browsed by game. Baboons will also occasionally feed on the succulent roots.
