Wildesuikerappel / Wild custard-apple
With their striking large leaves (especially when young) they certainly stand out in the bush. Their yellow/orange fruit are edible and have a pleasant unique taste. Widely used as food. The fruit reminds of a small pineapple, and cold drink made from it even have a pineapple like taste. Leaves and flowers are also used as vegetables!
Game browse the leaves and giraffes are often seen eating it.
